Traveling for leisure seems very commonplace in this world. I admit it's something I'm only now indulging in myself but...

I wondered if anyone had any stories they'd like to share. Pleasant stories, about their travels.

I think I'd like to hear some.

I've tried not to let people know how little I don't know. What a hard thing to explain to people, huh?

Having to have things like "cars" or "radio" explained to you... hell, I had to be told what a telephone is. I like all of this new technology... but I'm not sure I would be able to understand how it works.

[He knows enough to be able to use them without much difficulty. Everything but a car, at least. He wouldn't get behind the wheel of one even if driving was something that happened here.]

Neither of us really know much about the outside world. It was so much easier living in that bubble.

[Well, it's not all bad, because he got to have a conversation where he was excitedly told about light bulbs and switches, and if you think Greed didn't run all over the place breaking lamps...]

Most of my knowledge is of alchemy or warfare. There are plenty of things I could teach a person, should they ask, but the information is rather useless here, isn't it?

[Especially since some of that information includes things like "how to transmute red water into imperfect stones" and "human transmutation".]

I figured out this pretty easily, though!

[He holds up the 'Gear, grinning.]

Back when I first arrived, I asked how to use it. Met this old man who told me he'd show me how things worked, if I wanted. Told me about Pokeballs and the like, too.

Ah, it'd be... interesting if alchemy was possible here. Maybe we'd actually be able to do it, being human. Or maybe being cut off from the Gate would still prevent us... I don't know.

[It's an interesting thought to have, if nothing else. If he could find out how to use alchemy, he would.]

I've mostly met combat alchemists. I used to work with the ones who worked with theories a long time ago, but they were never the ones who particularly interested me.

[Which is probably why Dante had him working with high ranking officers more than alchemists.]

I was told that weird weekend we had back in May is something that happens from time to time. Maybe we'll wake up when it happens again able to use alchemy. Wouldn't that be something? Even if we couldn't exactly remember it afterwards.

They're fun to work with, the combat alchemists.

There's one here, actually, he....

[Well, Greed hasn't actually seen what Kimblee is capable of, but he doesn't doubt that it's fantastic.]

I didn't get to see what he was capable of in May. Kind of a shame, really. I hope I can see him in action next time. The theories are nice and all, but actually seeing it is the most exciting part of all.

My-- the alchemist I knew back there, his work was stunning. I've never seen anything quite like it. I believe he developed the technique himself. It's almost a shame he isn't here.

[It's probably not a surprise that Greed would be more interested in the destruction side of things. Especially given that his close friend back in Amestris had been Kimbley of all people.]

I was one of the ones who helped set up the lab initially, actually.
