Fourth Wall - Goldenrod - Action
[Lust isn't at all prepared for this madness. She'd settled into this strange little life, more or less, and thrown herself into making the most of it. She wasn't prepared for her homunculus nature to suddenly return, or to find herself going from one place to another as though towns were only a few footsteps apart. But it isn't bad.
She's almost glad for her abilities back. It's like wearing a familiar and comfortable coat. She hasn't quite settled into humanity yet, and she feels more like herself. She finds herself idly flicking her talons out every now and again, extending and retracting them like someone snapping their fingers as they go along. And traveling so fast is nothing to complain about, if startling the first time or two.
It's even paid off. She's finally made the effort to catch a pokemon, though she's almost wishing she hadn't bothered. Another improbably cutesy furry round thing. Pink this time. Wonderful, her animals are color coded by gender.
She doesn't know what to do with it now. At least she's in a large town, though she's not sure if that really matters right now. Nothing's normal.
At least it's bound to be an interesting day. If nothing else, abnormality could be exploited in beneficial ways.]

[And what do you know, there's Lust! He calls down when she passes by.]
Hey! Up here!
no subject
[Lust hasn't had any idea where anyone was since all this started. She waves to Envy, stopping under his perch.]
Did the world break?
no subject
Something like that. This happens every once in a while, it'll be back to normal in a few days.
no subject
[If it's normal then she's not going to waste time worrying about it. She flicks out her nails, in and out, thinking.]
We'll go back to being human, then?
no subject
[He shrugs; he's used to it enough not to be bothered at all. It's just a thing that happens. Then he transforms, just into a random man he'd seen passing by earlier, and keeps on talking like nothing's happened. It does feel great to have that back.]
But it's an opportunity to have some fun, at least.

Miriam had run ahead, as she was wont to doing. It was fine, as long as they were in a public area without wild Pokémon. She was quite friendly, and the most trouble she ever got into was digging through a resident's flower garden. That was her thing, Scar had quickly discovered. Flowers. Especially red ones.
That was what she had been up to, when she spotted Lust's familiar face. Pleasant and mellow as ever, Miriam trotted up to Lust's heels with dirty paws and flowers clinched between her tiny teeth. She mewed, trying to get the homunculus' attention.
Scar had, thus far, not caught up, and had no idea what the kitten Pokémon was up to.
no subject
"Where did you come from?" She crouched down, peering at the flowers in the pokemon's mouth. She patted the cat-pokemon's head, claws well retracted for the moment.
"Are these for me? Where's your human?"
no subject
Her human, to his mild horror, rounded the corner just as she dropped the flowers at Lust's feet. Of all the places for this twisted reality to deliver him, why did it have to be here? What was he supposed to say in greeting? Why was he even thinking about it so much in the first place? He couldn't not approach, the homunculus held his Pokémon captive!
"Miriam, don't run so far ahead," he said as he approached, eyes uncomfortably darting between Lust and the kitten.
no subject
"Guttle, don't be a pain."
no subject
"He's not," Scar said simply, crouching to have a closer look. He reached out to pat the Pokémon. Surprisingly soft, too... Scar briefly glanced up to Lust.
"What is he?" Miriam was quite interested, too.

[Suddenly, he catches a familiar smell. It's Lust! He could find her anywhere, and before long she's in sight of even his poor vision.]
Lust! Lust! I found you!
no subject
[Guttle rolls forward inquisitively.]
You found me. I'm right here.
no subject
[This is great, now that Lust is here she'll make everything make sense.]
Where is here?
[Guttle catches his eye, and he turns his head down, putting a finger in his mouth.]
Can I eat that? I'm hungry.
no subject
[She strokes Gluttony's head affectionately, much as she would a small child or beloved pet.]
Here is....here. It's a nice place. Let's find you something to eat.
[Just in case she's talking to him, Guttle opens his mouth in a grin and begins clapping excitedly.]
no subject
[Sounding disappointed at that. They look so tasty! But he brightens right up again at the mention of finding something else to eat.]
Yes! Something to eat!
no subject
Well there, that's an interestin' sight. Don't suppose you're lookin' for work in a circus?
no subject
A circus? No, certainly not. Are you offering a job?
no subject
[A playful wink is sent Lust's way, completely the opposite of serious. Joker usually isn't serious when it comes to his offhand flirts. It's all just in good fun.]
Besides, if I were honest, I'd have ta admit ya look like someone I used ta work with back home in England.
no subject
[Lust's own tone is teasing, and she smiles.]
I've never heard of a place called England. I come from Amestris. I'm Lust.
no subject
Don't happen ta know someone who's pretty good at bein' other people and goes by Envy, do ya?

It's been a while. I'm still not sure what's going on here, personally.
How many unusual things have you run into this weekend?
[Because, uh. Greed has a story.]
no subject
I lost count some time this morning. I think it was when the elderly women on motorbikes chased the penguins by the window.
[Unusual doesn't begin to cover it.]
The penguins exploded.
no subject
Well, that's certainly more amusing than some of the things I've seen.
[...mostly because he spent an entire day destroying a large percentage of Goldenrod and that's not really "haha" funny.]
Anyway I... well I've found out a few things about the other Amestris since the last time we spoke, and I might as well tell you now.
[And by his tone, a lot of it is probably unpleasant.]
Though given how strange everything is right now I won't blame you if you're not interested.
no subject
[She doesn't like thinking much about the other Amestris. She's spoken to people from there, but not in any great depth. She has nothing against them.]
And Envy said we won't remember everything from this time properly, anyway. Apparently it happens every now and again.
no subject
Well, some of what I learned I learned before this weekend. Though I could save that for when things go back to normal.
That's the less unpleasant news, actually.
[...only a homunculus would describe a goal that involves "eating god" as "less unpleasant."]
