...so how large is too large for a Spheal?

I'm taking him to see our local Nurse Jenny just to be safe, but he certainly seems fine.

That is a necessity of his biology. Spheals all have thick blubber layers, to stay warm and help them float.

Yeah, so, if it's normal for them to be sorta fat anyway, maybe all Spheals are like that...? I don't really know. I've never had one before.

I've never met another up close. And their informative entry only says they 'average around 90 pounds'.

Guttle's only about ten pounds over that...

[As long as 'about' can cover 'fifteen'.]

Well, there are all sorts of people who aren't average. I bet the Jenny will say he's fine.

And if nothing else, you can just work out with him!

He joins me in my workouts, but I'll admit, it's mostly in the capacity of a soft yoga ball...

But the general consensus seems to be just that. He's not unhealthy or a dangerous weight, there's nothing wrong with being a bigger Spheal.
