Now don't say that, I'm imagining a Pokemon that's a ghost possessing a phone now. That sounds like the sort of thing my Rotom would get up to just for fun. I imagine if they possessed these Gears there would be even more inconvenient involuntary broadcasts of personal moments.

What do you mean, strange? I know there were all sorts of ghost stories in my world, but mostly about vengeful or dangerous ones.

Humans might enjoy pushing the boundaries of how much contact you can have with the ghost of a loved one a little too much in their movies.

As in, into "this actually isn't possible and also is completely and utterly weird" much.

Oh. Well....we dead things need love, too. I certainly can't complain about human men who aren't put off by a corpse.

Half of this book is ridiculous. It probably just means we're heading into autumn and the demand for tea is going to increase and you're subconsciously anticipating that.

Perhaps...though Pumpkaboo spice is a little more popular in fall. I'll let you know if all of my tea supplies become simultaneously possessed and start singing songs, though.

If they do, I'd blame a pokemon before blaming ghosts. The Espurr kittens got into the kitchen cabinets once and it looked as though we had pots and a bowl come to life...

Maybe there is something to the feeling out of control interpretation, though. I don't think I've talked about how I even started the shop in the first place to my friends, I was sort of strong-armed into it, quite honestly.

I used to have people from my world here, a couple of years ago. My dear friend Yusuke befriended a boy named Killua, not from our world but he might as well have been with some of his experiences. Killua had a bit of a sweet tooth, so when he found out I could make sweets he came up with the idea of a bakery. You know? I didn't even like sweets much, but I went into it anyway because I wanted to make him happy. It was a more reliable way of supporting my friends, to boot.

But then they all left and I've been sort of...going at it alone since then.

I loved them dearly, I still do, they're like my brothers and I miss them.

That's a very sweet story. I'm sorry for your losses, but...we all know it's part of life here.

It's good of you to keep it going, though. I would have done the same. There are still things I do daily, despite the people I did them for being long gone.

Not usually. They aren't bad dreams, just...incomprehensible.

Mmmh...perhaps they're scrambled up memories? The brain uses sleep to sort of reset everything and get you back in order, it could be reprocessing things it knows or used to know.

I've wondered that myself. God knows most of my memories are a confused mess as it is. The ones I still have.

Ah...if it makes you feel better, I don't have any memories from my early life. [It's actually the nature of what she is, just something created from the belief of people, but she'll leave that part out.] Never have dreams about it or anything.
