[Hey Lust, you want a morning message, right?]

Hey, Lust. You're obviously smokin', right? Like, not be weird or anything, but you're clearly a lady who knows what she's doing.

So I have a question:

Do you think I could pull off a dress?

[Wow this is a confusing message to see first thing in the morning. Lust blinks groggily at the screen and responds automatically.]

Smoking? Not since I came here, I only bothered if my alchemist did...

Oh. That's...not what you mean, is it?

[No, no that's not at all what he means.]

I'm not sure how one of yours would work, actually.

[It's a mystery.]

I was thinking more waitress-y. I need to prove something to Maka.

[It's really not the strangest thing she's ever been asked, even if she can't think of any point to be proven.]

Alright, back up, let me get a good look at you. I can't think of any reason you couldn't wear a dress perfectly fine, you just have to choose the right style and cut.

What are you trying to prove?

[He places the 'Gear in a good enough spot before stepping back enough obediently. Even with casual t-shirt and jeans, he obviously has more a fighter's kind of build despite being just 16. Just because he's been in Johto for a good few months now doesn't mean he's kept himself from training alongside his Pokemon. As he waits for her to look him over, he starts to explain himself.]

It all sorta started back home- actually you might find this funny. So we had this mission we had to do, and we got sucked into this book. Each "chapter" or level or whatever was based off of a sin, right? The very first place we arrived in?

Called the Book of Lust.

See, what this thing did was it changed your bits around. Like, I got boobs and cute braids, Maka got a haircut and pants- [That's it, that's literally the extent of her changes as far as he can tell.] It happened to the whole team, even the cat.

Cut to us being here, and we were arguing about something. I was like "hey I made a cute girl" and Maka's like "That doesn't count" and I called bullcrap.

So here we are.

[Lust needs her morning tea for all of this. She gets started on that while he talks.]

You come from a very strange world, have I mentioned that lately?

[It's all she can manage. Book of Lust? Really? She shakes her head with a soft chuckle and sets to studying him. Seriously. He was her first friend, after all, and he was asking her opinion and advice. The least she could do was give it.]

You'd need some work, but it's nothing clothes and makeup and an appropriate hairstyle couldn't manage. You'd make a boyish girl, but not in an unattractive way. Try something sporty that shows off your lower legs.

[Surprisingly not for the Pokemon, however. To his credit, he does listen carefully to what she says.]

I've never had to deal with makeup before... It's not hard, right?

This world's strange, too.

[She has to cover her mouth with her fist when he asks about makeup, to cover the sudden laughter that threatens.]

...not if you know what you're doing. Hold on a moment.

[She leans back out of frame, asking Guttle to bring her her little makeup bag.]

...I am so screwed.

[What has he gotten himself into]

Hold on, should I get something too? Like, there's a mart not too far from our house, is this something I should do?

Relax, I'll show you how to do it.

If you want to prove that you make an attractive girl, you'll have to do yourself up as a girl, won't you? You'll need makeup for that.

[It makes perfect sense to Lust. She doesn't imagine her opinion is worth all that much to someone she's never even met. Guttle brings her the bag and she tells him to stay put.

She needs a model, after all, to demonstrate on.]

Right, right... [He lets out a puff of air.] I'm putting my newfound femininity in your hands.

[He'll wait patiently to see where she's going with this.]

Just relax, it's hardly advanced science.

[Lust digs around in her bag, pulling out a few basic necessities.]

Start with the eyes. That's where most of the work is. Start with powder. Guttle, keep your eyes shut. Shut. We're going to make you pretty.

[She positions herself and her overly-round Spheal so Kirikou can easily see what she's doing.]

Start at the lid edge and sweep upwards to the crease.

[She demonstrates by slowly applying dark shadow to Guttle's closed lid. The Spheal waits patiently, mouth open and tongue lolling out.]

I dunno, I think I need a degree for this.

[But okay, he'll finally shut up. Kirikou grabs the 'Gear again so he can watch closer, sitting down with his legs crossed. Powder first, alright...]

[God bless you, Guttle, for helping them with this endeavor.]

Okay... That looks easy enough.

Just a bit of practice. It's just like painting, only you're doing it on your face. Blend it in so it's smooth, and smudge it up over the top of the eyelid in a smooth, arcing motion, corner to corner. Not too high, you aren't going for the love child of a circus performer and a street girl.

[Thankfully Guttle has plenty of easily visible face, for demonstrating on. She does both his eyes, going slowly so every step can be clearly seen. It's easier to do this on something else, really.]

I can sorta paint... [By which he means he's a skilled fingerpainter with small children. Good enough?]

[Every action and word accompanying them is stored away in his head. Still, that last comment makes him snort.]

I dunno, maybe there's people into that. So, lid edge, sweep to crease, bled, and smudge. I think I got it.

But it wouldn't look good on you.

Alright, that's eye powder. Then the liner, this is a bit trickier. You want to take the pencil, make sure it has a good sharp point, and slowly draw a line along the edge of your lower lashes, on top. Guttle, don't blink or jerk. Otherwise you'll be wearing an eye patch all day and I'll feel like a horrible trainer.

[Oh crap there's more-]

Is taking my own eye out something I'm going to have to worry about a lot?

Only if you're clumsy or have shaky hands.

See, it's not hard.

[Guttle looks a bit more skeptical of this step, and closes his mouth as he holds as still as he can. Lust sweeps her hand easily along that counts as his lower lashes and moves her hand away.]

There. Not difficult at all.

[Just hold on, Guttle. You are truly a saint.]

I guess not. Is there anything else I should put on?

Just some liner and color for your mouth, to give you sensual, feminine lips.

[Which Guttle will soon be modeling, despite the fact that Lust has to literally draw lips on with liner. The Spheal really hopes they're done with his eyes.]

You just outline your mouth, like this, and then fill in with lipstick.

[These are actually words he is applying to himself. What a world.]

There are different colors, right? [He's picked up on that much in his short teenage life.] What would look good on me?

Of course there are.

Probably something in a red.

A darker red or...? Oh, this sort of thing depends on what you're wearing too, I think?

[He's starting to get into it now. Sort of. Maybe?]
