[Nothing makes any sense whatsoever. Lust feels like she's in a radio drama only she doesn't have the script and everyone's speaking a different language. She understands, but understanding doesn't help her make sense of it any. How she got here or why. And the spherical blue abomination she's found herself with looks more like something that should be on a little girl's toy chest, not following her. It isn't as though he's difficult to take care of, or even an annoyance, she only questions the judgement of placing any living thing in her care.
She's thankful at least, for the fact that she's finally escaped her master's reach. Strange as this place is, she's no longer a tool for some miserable husk of a woman who should have been long dead. And she's thankful also for the information device, even without much context for the information it holds. And the fact that it can apparently be used as a communication device. Most comfortable with telephones, she initiates the voice function.]
Much as I hate to simply call out to the void, I'm afraid it's likely my most fruitful option.
Do I understand that I'm expected to work?
[She's never held down any sort of job in her life. How did one even get a job?]

You're right, you didn't. I'm from after that. This place doesn't seem to care if people are dead or not when it brings them.
And...it changes everyone. Everyone's human here.
[Greed didn't notice at first, after all, so he should tell her in case she hasn't either.]
[Audio | locked]
[She existed already due to an attempt to revive the dead. What was left to bring back? Obviously something, as here she was, talking and healthy and in full possession of wits and memories.]
Or close enough to it. It's not what I expected.
[Audio | locked]
And being human's a pain in the ass is what it is. But...it's something to get used to. I've managed okay.
[He's quiet for a moment while he tries to figure out what to say. There's so much to say.]
It's nothing like Amestris at all. Sometimes that's annoying, but...I don't know. I've been happy here.
[In other words, happiness is possible for things like them in this world.]
[Audio | locked]
[She expected something else. But all that's changed is she's lost her homunculus abilities. She looks the same, her mind and memories and thoughts are the same...]
Have you really?
[Audio | locked]
[He sounds almost awkward about it; he knows that's not a fun thing to suddenly realize, that they might have had what they were after all along.]
I am. And I'm going to come get you, alright? It'll take me a few days to get to Cherrygrove, and you should get there around the same time.
[Audio | locked]
[She doesn't know what it means. But she doesn't want to contemplate it like this. Not over a long distance line.]
Cherrygrove. Alright. I'll meet you there.
I'm...glad you're here.
[Audio | locked]
[Can you hear that grin over the audio, Lust? He sounds almost like normal. Although then he pauses, and his voice quiets down, more awkward again.]
...I'm glad too.
[He's awful at being genuine about anything, that's probably never going to change, but he tries nowadays. And Lust deserves it. She'd gone to Lior and then she'd been a traitor and then she'd been dead. He'd been angry at her when it happened, but now that doesn't matter.]
[Audio | locked]
Now that that's all done with...
What in the world am I supposed to do with this animal?
[Audio --> video | locked]
Most of them like the battling, though, and they don't die or get really hurt. It's weird. Here, turn on your video, let me see which thing you got. It's the button with the camera-looking picture on it.
[And, y'know. He also wants to actually see her, but he doesn't have to say that. He's already been sappy enough for one day. He switches his own feed to video; he's outside, walking through the streets of a city.]
[Audio --> video | locked]
He's...sweet, though.
[And almost annoyingly affectionate. Lust fiddles with the video function before getting it to switch over. It's such a strange piece of technology, to be able to project moving image like this.]
There, is it working?
[She's frowning at the screen, not sure if she's done it right.]
Yeah, I can see you now. And you should be able to see me on the screen.
[He grins. He does prefer video, where he can read people's expressions. A pair of bright purple claws and an insect face peek up from over his shoulder, but he doesn't pay the Pokemon riding on his back any notice for now.]
The camera's on the side with the screen, so you can point it at whatever you want people to see.
[Lust offers a small, tired smile. It's good to see him.]
Alright, I don't feel like trying to pick this thing up. He looks like he weighs as much as I do.
[She turns the camera to the Spheal, sitting happily beside her, rolling his weight from side to side, tongue lolled out.]
He's rather like a dog.
[A smaller, blue Gluttony.]
I've seen that kind before, he's a water type. The 'Gear can tell you what kind of moves he's got, it won't be anything impressive this early on.
I can't imagine him ever having anything impressive. He doesn't even look like he belongs on land.
But that's good, that he likes you. They're not like normal animals, most of them can understand what people are saying.
[...well. Not so sure about Gluttony!seal.]
Most of them.
[Lust glances at her Spheal, and the sound of flippers slapping together can be heard.]
As demonstrated.
Well, that's something.
[Although, the talk of Gluttony has reminded him...he suddenly looks urgent.]
Hey, I can't forget to tell you this. I don't remember that mom lady giving me much food, and you're going to get hungry. Your seal can eat the berries growing in the woods, but don't eat them.
[THE BERRIES ARE BAD NEWS. THIS IS SERIOUS.]
[At least she knows an easy food supply for her creature. She supposed she was going to have to give him a name, she couldn't keep calling him 'the creature' or 'seal'.]
What else can he eat?
[Do you see this face, Lust? This is a face that speaks of terrible, terrible experiences.]
Some of them even look like normal fruit. But trust me, they're not.
And...well, there's Pokemon food for sale at the stores. He might like fish.
[Seals eat fish, right?]
I wonder if he can catch his own fish. He should be able to swim.
Or at least bob on the surface of the water.
[Something to do with being fat and round. Something other than Gluttony, that just didn't seem right.]
It doesn't have to be deep water.
I'm thinking of calling him Guttle.
[Yeah he sees what you did there with that name.]
You'll be able to get more too, if you want them. Did you look at the book they gave you?
I glanced at it. If I'm going to make any money battling, I'm going to need more than just him.
[Jobs are stupid. Who wants to stock shelves all day?]
[...although Envy also has a rich boyfriend and a cat that can create magical money from nowhere so.]
