That was... kind of new. New, at least, in that he hadn't kissed her like this in months. What a tumultuous year it had been, and not in the ways Scar was at all used to. Now, though, there were no distractions and they had all the time they wanted. At least before someone fell asleep.

Scar followed along as best he could, fitting his lips with hers. He knew that she wasn't bothered by his inexperience, but his meticulous fumbling frustrated him all the same. He thought too much about what he could be doing right and wrong. He held onto her without thinking, though, sharing her warmth and enjoying being close.
